saturday night i was at a party in sacramento. i didnt have my Autolock on me so to prevent my car from trying to get stolen i unpluged a distruibuter wire and took out a fuse. i get back in my car and i put the fuse back in but forgot to plug the distributer back in. my car started and about 30 feet down the road my engine light comes on. i turn the car off and plug it back in. now my car runs fine but i still have the engine light on need help on getting it off. i have a 98 EK hatch with a D16Y8 stock

You can reset the ECU be removing the ECU fuse for a few sec and then put it back in.

 

so all i need to do is remove the ECU and plug it back in

 

reset it,if that doesnt work get the code
