what is the best place to run the tach wire from and what color is it

 

lol tach for what? tell him just get a shiftlight in the curise control place or somthing a buge tach would be really ugly or unnessary unless he has has a built motor and is putting a water temp or air pressur tach or somthing

 

tel the "boyfriend" to get about 4 tachs. One in the drivers side (that makes 2), one in passenger and two in the backseats.

that way....everyone can see your RPMs.....Then proceed to slap the boyfriend in the face with a large fish...preferrably a herring.

OR....

just leave it as it is being that there is already a tach in the dash....have alook for yourself....

If I could answer your question I would. But all these other ******* know how to do is flame someone for something that a matter of personal prefference. If this guy wants to hookup a tach in his teg then let him!!! all the effort put into flaming could of been put to good use and acctually help someone out! I personaly think its stupid, but im not the one thats gonna have to stare at it every time I drive.

Heres some info for ya-

All the wiring can be done from behind the dash.
1. Red tach wire goes to black/yellow wire behind dash.
2. Orange tach wire goes to red/black wire behind dash.
3. White tach wire goes to blue wire behind dash.
4. Black wire goes to the bolt next to your hood release.

Hope it helps some, if he decides to go with the tach dilly

hmmmmm can hook up a turbo kit on an rsx but yet doesnt know how to hook up a tach. hell of a car guy
