Default Weird problem with the V-AFC II

After installing my V-AFC II, my car would occasionally display a really weird problem.

Only in 3rd gear in SportShift ('03 TL-S), if I floor it, it would bounce off the rev limiter... at or about 5000 RPM. In any other gears, it never happens, and in 3rd gear (actual gear, not SportShift), it never happens.

I asked on the Acura forums, but I was told that it was the V-AFC II causing the problem, and that I should shut down and restart the car. Well, it's happened at least 4 times now, and it's pissing me off.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? Is there something wrong with the wiring job, or is this a known problem with the V-AFC II??

Thanks.
