where can one buy a d16z6 swap?

Default where can one buy a d16z6 swap?

does anyone know who sells one? i dont want the jdm d15b vtec and thats all anyone has to offer on their sites (such as hmo.) i know i could buy the stuff from places like the classifieds or what not but i want some type of back up from whom ever i would buy it from.

there's a d16z6 in the for sale thread.....located in florida. $350 i believe.

i'd rather not buy it from an h-t member unless they lived in illinois or close by. i would much rather buy it from a company that will back it up though.

i know the d15 and d16 put out the same power but thats only because the d15 has a different cam. i want the d16 first if i can.

good luck i was in the same situation, i wanted a d16z6 not just a jdm d15 but no other site sells a d16z6 so just ended getting one locally

yeah i know its hard. none of the sites i know of sell it. the local site was just shut down to... scrap yards want 400+ for just the engine with 200k on it...

i know some people that got a jdm sohc zc vtec on ebay for cheap....its basically a stronger low mileaged z6...claimed 140hp.

the jdm d15b is only a smaller d16z6 with a zex style cam. i want the 1.6l.

I would recommend calling around tuning shops in illinois, I bought my b18b from apg motorsports I believe its called..nice guys imo though many others dont think so.

Start searching around this site, post in the chicago fs/wtb thread:

just get the d15b, when my z6 craps out im going to just get the d15b, thast all they had in jdm land unless u wanan go find one around ur area which usually have alot of miles, my z6 burns a little oil and dont know how many miles are on it but still pulls like a champ.

i had to read it a few times to get it. he said its a 1.6l zc sohc with vtec... i dont know what he means but thats what he said...

no i havent really. what would make it better or more worth it? i've heard that the im flows more but the head doesnt.
