Not too bad.

You sure it's a head gasket? Anyway, get yourself a Helms manual and a few buddies and try to fix it. It's not that difficult. The hardest part for me was actually aligning the cam gears and getting the timing belt on right.

The actual removing of the head, putting on the gasket, and putting everything back on was very easy.

If you have nothing to lose, you should definatly attempt it yourself. Borrow a helms manual. The gasket isnt that much.

Are you sure? Did you do a leakdown test?

Hmm, I don't get it. That isn't even your post.

Anyway, how could you confuse a faulty O-ring in the dizzy or filter in the vtec solenoid for a leaking headgasket? They have totally different symptoms.

So what problem are you having again? Do you have a leaking headgasket? Or what?

Replace the gasket yourself and it will cost you 85 dollars for a cometic headgasket and it will last you for a long long time! I havnt had a problem yet!~
