Default Radiator Hose Question

Hi everyone, I am using a Del Sol VTEC dual core radiator with my GSR motor in my 93 Civic Hatch. I'm using stock GSR radiator hoses. I noticed the hose fits fine into the engine, but the end that connects to the radiator doesn't fit. The nipple on the radiator is too small. I was going to go to the plumbing store and buy some fitters and stuff like that to make it fit. However, I was just curious if there was a better way of doing this. Are there radiator hoses out there that are custom made where one end is smaller than the other? If so, can you tell me where I can get such a hose? Again, I feel that buying fitters at the plumbing store should do the trick, but I just wanted to know if there were better options out there. Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks!

the radiator you have is not a dohc vtec one. if it were you would not have any fitment issues. you still have a sohc dual core one.

This should be the correct answer. Post a picture of your radiator (from the side) to confirm.

I cut a piece of the the stock civic upper hose and put it on the radiator inlet. I put the gsr hose over the cut hose and clamped it down. Never had a problem.

Damn that's true, now that I think of it. Freakin Autozone!! Well, will the SOHC radiator work any different because it's way too late for me to return it.

i'm having the same issue with my radiator (b16 though). It is the dual core VTEC radiator from autozone, part numbers match, but the inlet on the radiator is too small...i tightened the hell outta the clamps and the bottom hose still leaked...ideas?
