Default Stock hose will not fit on my fluidyne radiator

I was trying to install my fluidyne radiator but the hose from my stock radiator won't fit onto the fluidyne radiator. The opening inlet on the fluidyne radiator is slightly bigger then the stock radiator opening. I tried forcing the hose onto the new radiator but it will not budge. It gets so tight on there. Is there any other hose I can use. Maybe a SI hose. I still have the stock d series engine also. Any help please.

throw the 2" hose into oven and heat it up.... then you can slip it over the 2 1/4" dual core radiator inlet/outlets. but you wont be able to remove them after....hahahahah

Also try some spray lube, or maybe a teeny coating of oil. Something to maybe make the attempt easier.

Astroglide would work J/K. Why don't you put a del sol si radiator hose on it. The other end will just look a little mashed up. I had my stock d series radiator with my itr swap and the hose looked real funny all scrunched up on my small radiator inlet but it didn't leak.

ive never dealt with a fluidyne but what ive done to get smaller hoses onto a larger opening i put pliers inside the hose and pull them open using a lot of strength. go all around the inside of it then use some wd-40. dont be affraid to pull too hard on the pliers unless its a real old hose.

I tired that already. It's really tight and only half way goes in. I'm afraid if I stretch it any more it will rip or ruin the inside. Do you know if they make felixibale radiator hose at autozone or pepboys or murrays. How do I make he bigger side inlet fit and the smaller side fit so that it won't leak. Also will a adpater reducer fit.

I gave you the answer in my post. It will work and it didn't leak in my car all the way up until it was stolen. If you want to really be ghetto and I know it won't leak go and buy yourself a 2 1/4 inch to 2 inch bushing reducer or a 2 1/4 inch to 2 inch bell reducer.

I've heard of this before... most do what was already mentioned... getting a delsol radiator hose...

Other that that you can get custom hose from someplace like "cool-flex" but they're pretty expensive... and a little domestic looking... they're meant for "muscle cars" etc. but they're supposed to be great hoses (they're metal and allow more heat to be vented off the coolant).
