Default altenator belt deflection

I'm just about to remove my A/C compressor. I'm probably being fussy but in my manual it has the altenator belt deflection with and without A/C. Plus new and old belt deflections. Once removed should i adjust it? Should I use the with AC deflections after or is that only for a car without A/C stock? Or should I only worry if it slips and does'nt charge properly?

Cheers Greg

I really wouldn't worry about it unless you hear whining from that area implying the belt is too loose or tight. If you're removing only the A/C, you shouldn't have to remove the alternator belt.
