Just got my Mugen Pedals, just a few questions on installing them:
1. Does it really make a difference if you dont remove the sticky backing and just use the screws to hold them in place?
2. I know I have to remove the original rubber covers on the brake and clutch, but what about the accelerator? It seems really hard to take off, do I just put the Mugen accelerator pedal over it or do I have to remove the rubber?

Yeah just put them on, just wondering whether or not I should use the sticky backing or not, cos its moving around a bit now without using the sticky backing, and I want to be able to take them off later in the unlikely event that I sell the car

 

i think the sticky backing is mostly for keeping them inplace while you are screwing them down.
and yes you have to remove the cover on th gas. its a pain in the *** though. at least i thought so

 

Rip the plastic cover off the gas pedal. It's easy, start from the top with pliers, it comes right off.

 

you can still take the pedals off if you use the stickies, I bought mine used... You can buy double sided stickers in a hardware store.
