Default Water leak....from the bottom?

Finally got sick and tired of having a puddle behind the passenger seat, so i ripped out the back seat and carpet. When i finished i sprayed down the car and could not find the leak.

The other day it was raining when i was at my friends house. when i got to the car i saw there was no leak. but when i got home, about a 3 mile drive there was the puddle right behind the passenger seat.

So i am thinking there is a small hole some where in my floor, and the water gets pushed in by my tire splashing the water up. but i have no idea how to find it.

Has any one ever had this problem?

what kind of car? if i has a/c and you're using it while your driving, and the drain is disconnected or clogged will cause water on the floor.

In my CRX I have a similar problem where water drips off the pneumatics that are connected to the hatch, it drips from the part connected to the frame not the end on the hatch. Might wanna check there.

Are you talking about the hydraulics that hold up the hatch when open?
If so I already checked that, no leak.

Im sure its coming from the bottom because once when i had a puddle in my car, i parked my hatch in the garage and when i pulled the car out i could see a small puddle of water on the ground. it was coming from somewhere on the passenger side of my car.

I am thinking of buying some brush on truck bed liner and painting some of that onto the bottom of my car. Anyone try this?

get someone to shine a flashlight at the floorboard at night, look under the car to see if light comes through anywhere. i'd take the seats out too.
