Yea its really easy, I just did it myself in my hatch, i learned that if you drill new holes in the metal and drive self tapping screws it holds really well with no gap on either side! Also if your a clean install freak like I am you can fill the factory hole on the drivers side with some putty and touch up paint it black and cut it flush with the stock radio console for a super clean look, but thats alot of work lol.
Nice job!

The fact that you now have a place to rest your arm on and store things in it.

It's MUCH easier in the 88/89. They can just do it like the hatchback guys.
The problem with the 90/91's is the automatic seat belt system; particularly the huge devices attached to the inner-most side of each seat.
Bust out a ruler and measure the distance between your seatbelt assemblies. You'll see that it's just barely over 2". The Integra console is at least 5" wide. I don't remember the exact measurement.
It has been suggested to just flip around the seatbelt assembly (take it off, flip it 180 degrees and bolt it back in place), but logically speaking, this is no real alternative or solution for a few reasons.
1) The seatbelt assemblies don't fit in place very well when you reverse them.
2) It looks ugly
3) The protruding section now exists in the space of your seat
4) It makes buckling and unbuckling your seatbelt a real PITA
My personal solution is a custom Integra based armrest section with an ultra-thin base. This allows me to retain my OEM seatbelts (which I have retro-fitted onto Integra seats), gives me the extremely great benefits of an armrest, and remains an overall OEM look in the car.

thread high-jack,
curious if this will work with the wondrous LX automatic seat-belts, the waist belt has the retractor above the E-brake.
Jonathan, what are your thoughts?
