Default NEONS on STOCK BODY '00

What is the best way to keep the sideskirts I have on my '00 Civic, I love the body lines so I wanna keep'm. Should i just cut'm, anyone who has done this already would be a big help, but anyone with an idea would be a help as well. Anyone that has read my post know i'm wanting to build a sleeper, only thing bodywise i may change is get a slightly more agressive front bumper. but stock skirts and back bump will stay[as of now]

Best way to make this work is to get a large heavy hammer. Next place your ***** on an anvil. Now smash your ***** with the hammer. Repeat as needed.

A lot of those guys are into that crap. Here on HT it's 100% performance NO rice. Sorry I call it crap, but that is what it is IMO. Good luck!

Why would you have to cut up the side skirts to put underglow on your car? Unless you have some sort of lip or bodykit on your car, you'll be able to see the tubes regardless of what you do and, thus, it will look incredibly gay. Sorry to bear the bad news, but that's how it goes.

that was 3 years ago...

how about you help him because i'm sure many people here on HT haven't had any experience with underbody neons so if you have feel free to chime in.

as far as i'm concerned spend your money somewhere else like your engine

I will freaking answer his question.... because he asked the tech part.. best locations.. Though this does deserve to be in apperance forum....

I got some plasmaglow neons for christmas last year.... didnt have much choice couldnt say no and crush my dads heart.... after all in his day of muscle cars, underbody painting and lighting was cool...

The dealer did a crappy job of installing and I could see them all.... so I checked out locations myself...

If you have a bright enough set.. aka quality... You can put all of them, except the front one... up under the rear bumper on the edge, to have a nice soft glow... and also, on the vertical inside edge of the side skirts... you figure out how to get under there and fasten them though... It wont be as bright as just being on the bottom, but it should have a nice glow...

Now before I get flamed needlessly.. I never wanted the neons, had nothing but trouble with the brain part dying... and it eventually caught fire in my armrest box... Tore it out and got everything removed and refunded for my amp.. what I really wanted... the very next day..

I neither like, nor feel safe with extra lights in a car anymore....

On a side note... for the memeber 2 posts above me... civiccxr... Take you own advice... dont let the thread grow if you dont have something relevent to topic to say.

yeah, rock the forums, i hear those presents you get that don't really like. my brother got me some of those bullet stickers that make your car look like it got shot, but unlike you i couldn't bring myself to put them on my car and feel kinda bad but, for you, great HT member. and DOHC EX good luck with the lights...

why do you guys treat people with underbody lights like ****?

Seriously How is something considered Rice?, because it's flashy... and the car obviously has no power so if someone has a 300hp motor they did all the work on them selves, and they decied they like the look of led washers? Then the car is rice? That makes no sense in my opinion...

i don't think neons are rice, nor do i think that being a "ricer" is based on what you own or what your car has. i believe it's more an attitude, the way a person acts

as for the neons, try to hide them as much as possible, not only does it look bad when you can see the tubes but cops hate it(around here anyway). hide them as well as you can, but allow for a clear path to the ground for the light to travel
