picked up a 92 vx, did a carfax and it came back with a salvage title in md. anyone have expierence with getting a new title in va?

 

should be salvage in VA too

 

but i could get it retitled in va, and i have to go through all the crap at the dmv regarding salvage title cars?

 

then it will be a rebuilt title, you will need to get it inspected by the highway patrol of your state and make sure you have all the reciepts for the parts you replaced or your out of luck! oh and also out of state inspection needed as well

 

ok cool. out of state inspection? you mean, an inspection from va?

 

yes because you purchased it out of state, just another way for the gov. to make money really

 

but the car has a va inspection and va county sticker, so it must have been registered and inspected here in va at some time. i dunno.....
