Anyone know how to remove the baffle plate on a 94 H22? I have a knocking in my block (stems back to my oil pressure problem. My crank seal and eventaully the oil pump went out or were leaking real bad. Replaced both but still had an oil pressure problem. Now I have no leaks and the oil pressure is right, but my block is knocking) and I need to check the bearings and rods. I have the oil pan and strainer off, but I can't seem to get the baffle off. All 8 bolts are out (the 8" or so bolts that go straight up into the block), but it is still on there pretty solid. Are there any other bolts on the sides I am missing or do I just need to tug on it a bit more? I put a screw driver safely in there and tried to pry, but not with a lot of force (little woried about scratching, denting, chipoing, etc). Haynes and a Prelude Service manual all don't seem to show any bolts holding it on from the oil pump, so I don't think I need to remove it.
Any help on this would be great.
