Give me your opinions on the condition of this block

I'm looking to purchase this soon through a HT member for a great price.
Are the hairlines normal? (mostly seen on the back of the block)
It's a b16a2 from a Si, roughly 50k miles.
When asked about the hairlines the seller told me it is normal casting wear.
You tell me.

Hairline cracks is normal. I don't think they are really cracks, all my blocks had em, they looks more like cast markings of some sort.
Also still see the crosshatch markings on the walls. Also seems like it gets its regular oil change, or he or she just cleaned up the oil pickup really good.
HOWEVER, in the 2nd picture, lower right hand corner of the block, is that a real chunk missing from the block??

I'm in a really tight corner.
Anyone else, opinions, what about the bottom right part of the back of the block.

A LS shortblock and B16 shortblock are pretty comparable in price, so a LS/VTEC setup wouldn't be too hard to setup.
Die.
