my friend has a accord turbo 9 psi and i have a b16a with nos and i dont think his car will beat mine

 

an accord weighs almost 4 grand (i believe) and that would have something to do with it... what kind of car do you drive.....there are many factors as to why some accords are slow....

see theres an advantage right there...the weight difference is huge.... that is what makes up the winner in most races.....if the weight of a slightly slower car is less then the slightly faster car the slower car may win...

 

It's actually more like 3000lbs, I think mine weighs in at 2950 something. Like my last post, a boosted accord at 5 psi is never going to be as good as the same setup at 5 psi on a lighter and more powerful car...

 

a 94 weighs around 3000? wow....i was a little off,.....

 

my 90 DX 4 dr weighed in at 2700

weight...tires...driver...health of engine...gear ratios... these are just a couple things that will determine speed and make something faster or slower

 

I think your friend would beat you. Your car is not that much lighter than his.

 

there are many factors in what makes accords slow, but weight is the biggest factor. to really overcome the heaviness, you have to start small and go "lightweight" everything. from something small like a lighter flywheel, to something a little more extreme like taking out the gunk that lessens road noise and vibration (<== not worth it, trust me).
