I have plans for a 6 speed trany to put in my ep but i been thinking about getting a short shifter while i'm at it.. would there be any drawbacks or anything i need to know about such as if there is another type of short shifter i need to buy since there is an extra gear now?? any help will do. thanks..

 

the only shortshifter for the ep3 is the adapter from neuspeed. I don't think the extra gear will affect the SS because it is just an attachment that changes the position of your linkages to your shifter.

 

correct, i have both the a2 swap and neuspeed SS and there is no problem at all
