suspension trouble
my prob is this, my passenger side camber is way negative and my driverside is almost right. i just replaced the upper control arms, ball joints, and got poly bushings, all items new. didtn't fix it. so then i thought maybe the spindle is bent, replaced it with junkyard one and still same prob. does anyone have any thoughts? help would be greatly appreciated. oh yeah its lowered about 2.5in
We're talking about the front I assume. When was the last time the camber was equal? Accidents? Anything else done (swap with different axles, different LCAs in the front, etc?)
i don know i got the car for free and as long as ive had it it has been this way. i havent wrecked it or anything. as far as swaping it was a base and now has a 91 si motor and tranny(d16a6). if i take it to an alighnment shop i don think they can fix it. as far as i know there isn't a way to ajust camber on a stock suspension
and yes im talkin about the front

You need a camber kit. Also if you said one side is bad and the other is good and you looked at everything else, have you looked at your spring on that side ?
Have you checked to make sure there's not something else that's bent besides what you replaced? If the previous owner smacked a curb or something he could of torn something else up.
i cant really tell. i guess ill just go to the yard and get both lower control arms and spindles. i really want this fixed before i get a b16. i dont think its my spring. the car sits level as far as i can tell. thanx for the help.

which side did you replace? the driverside which you say is striaght up sounds like the bad one to me. a little bit of neg camber is good and expected when lowered.
thats kinda what i was thinking. ive seen quite a few lowered hondas and i think that all of them without camber kits looked like my pass side.maybe its my drivers side thats f*cked up.

I dunno, I read "almost right" as "the expected amount of negative camber from a 2.5" drop" and "way negative" as "a lot more than the other side." Maybe I had it wrong. If Tyson is right, a bent LCA in the front could "fix" the negative camber from the lowering springs. So could a bent knuckle on the side you didn't replace (if it turns out it's the OTHER side that's not right).
