Totall off topic, but i know the answer is here. Boat related
Cant figure this out for the life of me so anyone with a sec and some boat knowhow please help me out.
Ok have a omc cobra boat with a 3.8gm v6. its an inboard/outboard setup. IE motor is directly bolted to the rear stearn drive housing. Ok were trying to remove the motor due to internal probs, but can figure out how to seperate the flywheel from what ever it hooks to. I know it bolds to the crack but the other side is giving us problems. Is its like torque converter? or just say a flex plate design. If anyone has removed one or a simlar set please help me out. Or if you hav e alink to a online manual that would be great too, thanks for your help. Mods feel free to move this to any forums for best answers and location, thanks again.

All I know off hand is that its a buick 3.8l v6. And its layed out as you said. The drive is made by omc and is a cobra. Do you have aol im ? If so hit me up at damianhindley I don't want the mods to get upset, your help is very apriciated. So far we have pulled everthing jsut as you would on a car including the motor to drive bolts, but there is something else hooked to the fly wheel we think
