heat doesnt work
ok it works but not good at all.. I dont think its the heater core cuz theres no fluids leakin on the floor. Also the temp gauge doesnt really work eather. If any one knows anything about this let me know, its gettin cold here in chicago. thanks
This happened to me as soon as i tried using the heat this year.
Ok get under the dash on the passenger side and find the cable that connects to the climate control you will see the lever it is connected to. Pull it all the way one way or the other which ever gets you heat.
Even if your **** on the climate control still works it can be off.
Hope i can help.

If the engine temp isn't moving very much, I vote thermostat. Stick a piece of cardboard in front of part of the radiator and drive around a little, if it heats up more, thermostat time.
^^^ as stated above, the heater cable can come loose very easily. If you can't find, just turn the temp **** while looking underneath the center console and you'll see it moving.
alright ill take a look, i have a feeling that its the thermostat cuz my temp guege doesnt really work eather it will go up sometimes but just fall again

Me too.
Me too.
1. If your temp gauge goes up and falls its most likely the result of a bad ground. Ive experienced it in 2 EF's.
2. I had this problem earlier this year. Locate the little thing with the handle that opens and closes the heater core. There should be something like a wire that moves it. Take the wire off and rotate the thing by hand. Move it so the thing says open or whatever. Or just move it around. Have someone sit in the car, which is at normal operating temp, all warmed up and everything, and have them see when heat comes out. If this works, the handle needs to come off and be re-adjusted and put back on.
If I massively confused you I'd be happy to un-hibernate my car and take a few pics.
edit: if this helps at all this is the post I made regarding the problem. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1052872

In the center of the picture outlined in yellow is the
control arm on the heater valve..
Make sure it is moved toward the firewall for heat:
