under normal conditions i can feel the new power..however, when i really get on it the motor begins to studder as the rpms climb and as i move thru the gears to accelerate..and suggestions?

 

Did you get a new fuel pump?

 

What is your fuel set-up? Don't know if you have any cam gears, hopefully they are not advanced.

 

Rule of thumb: if you want the horses, you have to FEED them. Your injectors are probably too small. I know this isn't a V detailed answer, but you didn't give us any details either...

 

it s a sohc..befor injectors..the techs. install d a jackson racing fuel regulator..should the have put in a fuel pump as well?

My friend just put a JR supercharger in his car...B16a coupe, he needs the fuel pump before he can boost. Could be the same situation. I'd call JR and find out what they recommend. Or take it back to the shop that installed it. For how much you payed, they should find out what is up.

 

Yes, the fuel pump and larger injectors too... That'll take care of your problem.
