Hey, I've got a some work to do to my 03 type s. I've got a kit on it and I need paint. I'm thinking on a classic type r white (its nighthawk black now) and getting the Type R white rims w/ honda center caps. Then changing the emblems in favor of honda integra type r ones.

What do you guys think? Should I just paint it black and not try to imitate the R?

Also I getting an LSD. I'm thinking a Type R will do fine. I found one for $780 new. Are the other ones worth the extra $$$?

i have a 04 si . i think it would be cool if you did that . jdm style . ive done it somwhat already . all real oem type-r badges and such . alot of peolpe might think your trying to pose . as long as you say you have a rxs-s with jdm parts i think you should be fine . if it looks good , go for it .

If you have the money to do that then go ahead but i would do it different leave the car the factory color and get the gunmetal itr rims that looks phat. Ive seen many black rsx's w/ the white itr rims and it doesnt look so great so instead of painting your car get the recardo seats and type r carpets thats hot and still representing the type r but not in white.

 

Sweet suggestions, those itr seats are like $1350 from ebay!! $2500 from JDM online stores!!! HOLY CRAP!!! Anyway I like the gunmetal itr rims idea. Thanks alot.

ITR LSD can withstand up to like 280-300whp, right?

 

ITRs came in NBP too you know. There's no need to color change your car, it will only decrease resell value.

 

paint the kit, not the car.

just paint it NBP. Although championship white is a great color, it's not worth the money. If you are going to spend $800 on a type R LSD, you might as well spend the extra cash for a QUAIFE LSD.
