Is anyone familiar with the ref in san diego chula vista to get your motor bar'd?
i have a zc sohc and i wanted to get it legalized but will they pass jdm motors? If so i need some tips how to pass and what is expected.
I think you will have a problem with the ZC engine due to the fact that there has never been a US equivalent.
Normally a JDM engine can get through the referee only if it can be configured similar to a USDM engine. As an example; a JDM B16 would have to be configured as a 94 Del Sol (which was the earliest USDM B16).
If anybody says that it's possible to referee a ZC, ask if they personally know of the car or it's just what a "friend" said.
