Default power steering is acting weird

ok here's the situation....I just put a new powersteering pump on my Integra and it was working fine for about 70 miles and now its acting strange. Its kinda tuff to steer (like have almost no powersteering). Is this a low power steering fluid thing or is it something else. please help. thanks.

Did you bleed the system when you finished your pump install?

from my memory the haynes manual says, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left then right a few times to relieve any air in the system, then recheck the fluid level

Just like what was said above. Turn the wheel lock to lock several times and check the fluid level afterward. If you have air in the lines it may give you a sort of "choppy" feel through the wheel when turning. HTH

ok now the powersteering is doing something new. It moves with ease then it tightens up, moves with ease and tightens up. What the hell is going on! Its a brand new Pump!

Did you bleed the system yet? The symptoms you describe sound like air in the lines. You need to bleed it several times until you dont see any air bubbles in the reservoir.
