what are some of the couses of shakin while idling its idling at around 800rpm, but when it gets to about 1050 it stops.it's specially bad when the engines cold, i dont noe if its the motor mounts or what, i think it need a tune up and my tierods are a little loose, but other than that , wait i think im missing some ground wires.

Yes, there is a good chance that your motor mounts are going bad if it idles hard.

 

yes I would say it is the motor mounts as well.

 

cheak your mounts by your tranny, if your car jerks when you take off or shift...kuz thats the next phase of dieing mounts...

on my car , by my tranny mount is "bent" and borken... i just noticed it today tho..

 

yeh i checked my motor mounts and noticed that the tranny mount is missing a screw, also how do i check if any of the others are bad, i noe when im driving the car it shakes becouse my rack and pinion is gone, just when its cold or idling or when i put of the ac the other shaking gets real bad.
