who's got the most hp out of a sohc turbo?

Crower I-Beam rods
SRP Forged pistons
ARP head studs
Shooting for 350whp, could make 400whp but the sleeves wouldn't last.

i'm no where near power full but i did run a 13.6 with a greddy kit and dsm sidemount and i'm really untuned. i building the block a bit and getting a front mount and a fuel pump and hope to go back tuned @ 15 psi to run mid 12's with full interior. if i had a bigger turbo i could run 11's no problem at the same psi.

Yeah it sucks. Turn the key and theres just a whirring sound. I'm so glad all my piston/valves are ok. Although this pushes my car to about a year in my garage without moving. I think all the D-series people are taking forever to get running.

That, or they're running around on stock motors making less than 200whp and blowing headgaskets left and right.
*raises hand*
J/K, I've only popped my HG once, it's running well now thanks to ARP.

Yeah there have been quite a few headgaskets/head lifting threads. Its all because of the awesome SOHC POWER!

I came to a conclusion that cams go bad on d's because of the massive low-end torque numbers, followed my the gobs of horsepower during vtec crossover.

Good luck on making 350 whp with your setup... I did 335whp at 20psi on race fuel with my T3/TO4E .63ar. Your 450cc will be too small you should get a set of at least 550cc or even 680cc like me !

Yeah, I just talked to Mase about it, and he said the same thing. So I asked him about 300whp, or maybe less, who knows. Either way it will be a blast in an 1800lb CRX.

SOHC TURBO! Damn it's sure fun to drive. But it's my daily car so I have to take it easy. I think it's making at least 200hp. I was pulling a stock WRX STI '04 the other day on the freeway.
I think he was just a bad driver.

yeah I was hoping for like 300 whp or more at 15 psi, when I got my results I was really disapointed but like you said it will be really fast in your CRX !
