This morning i went to fill up my tank and after about 5 or 10 minutes i noticed the check engine light was on. I took it to advance and they said it was throwing a p1457(Manfac. Control Auxiliary Emission Controls). Im not sure what is causing it. yesterday i had to move the cruise control box that is under the hood so i could get to a gromet. could i have messed something up with the evap. system or could it just be the gas tank??? thanks

 

Just clear the code and see if it kicks back on. I don't know if it is that specific code but i know a code will kick on if the gas cap is not on right or is loose.
