i have tried everything to fix my speedomiter. changed vss, dash harness, guage cluster, checked fueses, changed plug on engine harness, checked contig. for ground and power to vss all good. anyone know if my tranny just isn't spinning the VSS??

 

Dude, I had the same problem. Mine was the harness that the vss sensor plugs into on the tranny. After many months of it not working and working on a hunch I swapped the bad one out for the one in my sohc and it worked! i didnt know that they were interchangable. Try it out, it might work for u!

i manually spun the vss withthe car on and yes i was right the pos tranny isn't spinning the VSS. sux to be me.

btw spun the vss with drill and piece of vaccume hose.

 

sounds like the ring on the diff is busted, that sucks
