Default What do you guys think of a h22 with a low budget turbo

I have a 4 door 97 honda civic, and I was wondering if anything is a h22 best for my car or am I better off going with a b series motor, I here some guys say a h22 is to heavy for it. and its not all the fast, but then again turboing it might make a difference, what u think.

Go turbo h22 , with the weight you have. The h22 turbo will put out more torque , one of my friends just did low 300s with 290ft-lb at 7psi on stock block

all mota

And the weight really depends on how it ends up.

Most h22 swap are'nt to much heavier than stock when people scrap the PS and AC systems and have an aftermarket hood and header

if you want a turbo h series go with the h23 not the h22. the h23 is a more reliable engine for turbo.

the h23's gearing is t3h gheyness compared to the h22 and it's funny how a turbo h22 was the first to break 8's FWD and it's not reliable
