The gas gauge on my JDM EG cluster doesn't work, so I really need to get the gas indicator light working..I did a few searches but could only come up with threads that has this link: ( http://students.washington.edu...I.htm) which no longer work

Can someone show me how? or by any chance have the procedures on how to do it? THANKS ALOT!!

My 94 ex doesn't have a gas light or it has never come on so USDM 92-95s may not be wired for it

 

my 95 ex dont have a gaslight either, or it has never came on

 

oh sorry for not making it clear, i know they dont come with it..but the jdm cluster does have the light and I know some people that has the gas light wire up and that link shows how to DIY but its not working anymore so jw if anyone knows how to do it and would like to show me.

its simple.. i dont' have a diagram, but i did put one in my CRX with a EF8/9 cluster.

basicly.. you do alittle tinkering around.. you find a model that had the gas light such as i think any integra (its been along time). its on the sending unit.. and its 1 wire.

pretty simple.. you add the dumby light onto the your sender.

so.. take your sending unit.. add the low fuel sensor from another sending unit, and then run 1 wire from the sending unit to the cluster..

you may have to bend the metal arm up or down, depending on where the light comes on.

its been a really long time. 4+ years, but i read about it somewhere.. i'll see if i have anything printed up in my office.

 

you will need a low fuel level sending unit from an integra.

 

EG's don't come with a gas light correct?

I know i don't see one on my cluster... always wondered.

bump... has anyone sucessfully done the swap for an integra sending unit to a eg, and wired up the gas light for the JDM cluster?

 

I could of sworn I had a gas light in my 94 Si Hatch, but it never worked.

exactly, the egs dont come with a gas light, but if u swap in a JDM cluser, it has a gas light, and im just wondering if anyone has sucessfully got their gas gauge working?
