Default alignment problems after lowering

i lowered my car yestrerday about 2.5-3 inches and the steering is off and goes to the right. Is this normal after lowering a car? Im pretty sure i had the coils at the same level, but could that be the problem? I know an alignment job is needed after a drop, how soon should i do it? Thanks in advance

Yes after lowering the car you have to get an alignment, especially with that drop I will even say that you need a camber correction kit.

And if you have expensive or really soft tires do it ASAP b/c it will eat the tires very fast. I had that problem with my car and my Toyo tires were gone in 3 months.
