mini-me's have high compression so be carefull..
Run colder plugs and retard timing..

when i said custom i meant like ghetto rig home made **** like a turbo off a european car or another non-honda jap car, is there any way to fabricate a turbo onto a dseries?

Any turbo can go on any car. Just a matter of getting a manifold made. Check the classifieds on here. I found a great rebuilt T28 turbo and a custom made manifold for $300 shipped.

what is an std manifold? this may seem like a stupid question but im just trying to learn more, i mean i have seen manifolds for the ex head, but i dont wanna buy one and find out i could have got one for something else and saved money,

low buget

It's from a stock std civic hatch (4spd no right mirror cars)...
People use this manifold because its almost designed like a turbo manifold..
Just get the manifold then use an adapter plate that matches the turbo..
and the manifold bolts to any d-series motor and can be bought very cheap..under $15 at junkyards by me..and you can get the adapter plate off ebay for like 20-30
And lots of people have had success with this manifold..
Also I think you can use the 88-91 hf manifold..and 92-95 cx manifold..
