Okay I have a friend who recently for christmas was given a 1995 Del Sol, and he wants to upgrade. Now I have delt with Turbo DSM's for a good amount of time but am just now starting to get into the Honda scene and learn some stuff about them. He has already ordered an AEM CAI and a Greddy exhaust (I am guessin the SP model). He says he will have about 400 dollars left over afterwards, what would you guys advise him doing as his next upgrade? Could you give me any upgrade paths for him to possibly follow? Also point me to some nice vendors that will sell parts for that car very cheap?

If you want that lil extra power, some nice headers for the SOHC will do. For an improved look and stance for the sol, coilovers or lowering springs will do wonders, even without huge rims.

 

if he's trying to stay NA, how bout a header, and FPR

 

Which del sol did he get? S, Si, or Vtec?

DragII...If it a sohc then it could be an S or an Si
Anyways i would suggest either a headder or just beef up the suspension cuz i dont think the S model came with a rear sway bar...well atleast my friends S didnt come with one.

 

It's got vtec. Sorry if this post seems kind of newbie'ish but to Honda's I am. I know how to do work and can without a problem install just about any part but I just do not know what would be the best parts and brands.

 

Its the 1995 SOHC VTEC 1.6 Si - Same engine in mine
I put a turbo kit on mine
