integra parts in a eg hatch?
well this just hapened to my teg https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=106476
so now i am thinking of buying a eg hatch and moving whatever is good from the teg to the hatch
from what i have read both the 3rd get teg and 5gen civic share the same chassie, so all of my suspension, swaybars, brakes should fit, correct?
the engine is still go in the teg and i just had it rebuilt, (only has 800 miles on it since the rebuild) so it will also go into the hatch, and i believe that the b18b motor mounts can be bolted right in, correct?
now, if i put the engine in, along with the ecu, can i also put in the ac, power steering, gauge cluster, i may even swap over the whole wire harness if needed, will this work, or am i just dreaming, thanks

I've got a 1992 Civic hatch with a B18C5 swap in it, and I have at LEAST 7 close friends all with GS-R or B16As in their 1992-1995 hatches too.
One of the guys put an Integra dash in and it does NOT fit good. He worked with it for a long time, but it still sat up wrong, plus the doors look like **** because you have to cut/fold them to even close around the Teg dash.
As for suspension, it ALL gfits just fine, but yours looks pretty fucked up, so yours might not even be slavagable.
Teg A/C? No. You'll need to get a Civic with A/C if you want it, but WHY? None of us run A/C here in hot-as-hell Georgia, and it's just fine.
Power steering? Again, why? I got RID of mine in my 1992 Si hatchback, and i'm telling you from experience P/S sucks *** anyways. It's a Civic, not a Teg, so it's easier to steer w/o P/S.
As for price? 5 people here have paid $2,000 for PERFECT-bodied 1992 hatches. I just sold my 1992 Si and got a 1992 CX for $2,500 and it has a B16A in it and a $1,200 stand-alone ECU! I sold the ECU and the mtor swap and ended up getting the car for $200 when you subtract the money made from sales.
My ITR swap goes in the CX soon, and I look forward to having my 175whp in a 2050 lb. car. My ols Si hatch went 13.9@100.97mph on street tires and full interior, and it weighed a portly 2280lbs.
DO NOT get an Si. You'll regret it. It will always be slower - PERIOD.
Good luck.

thanks,
the only reason i asked about the dash, or rather the gauge cluster itself, was i know that some of the civics do not have a tach, and i really, don't want to install, a big 5" tach, that i really don't need, and i just wanted a cluster with a stock tach
i didn't get a pic of the passenger side, there isn't a scratch on it, everything is straight, so it may be woth it to me to save as much as i can from that side and save some money
i guess i agree with you n the ac, i guess i just have to figure out how to pull it off the teg motor and the power stearing, you are also right, its a lighter car, and im not in the city, so low speed manuivers don't happen very often anyways
i am going to be buying a cheep $500 automatic beater for now(Icant drive stck for a while anyways) and take my time to locate a good project car, and take my time and build it right the first time
i can't wait till i can get it back together, i just had the engine rebuilt (i estimate 180 whp or so) so now it's going to be awhile before i can get it on a dyno to see what all that money i put in the engine will do
and now i'll be in a car that is 400lbs ligher, it should be fast as hell
thanks again

do they look the same? they will fit right?
integra chassis is the exact same???? i just thought it used some same parts
anway
and ealier about my eg6 post fowl-up
so a 95 hatch chassis is reffered to as eh? not eg?
why do so many people have eg6 this and eg6 that?

Like the other dude said, EG is mostly for JDM cars (though there are some export models called EG).
EG6 specifically refers to Civic SiR hatchback (powered by B16A). This is for the 92-95 shape ofcourse.
Most ppl use the term EG for any 92-95 Civic, which is fine, but I feel it's total misrepresentation to start calling every hatchback an "EG6" even if it's not an 92-96 SiR hatch.
Cheers...

Since most people use the WRONG chassy code, EG6, to identify the 1992-1995 regardless of whether it's really an EG6 or not, I guess I'll have to convert so people know what I'm talking about...
