Default goodbye to my teg

Went around a curve and the rear end came out on me, and i couldn't save it ,wasn't speeding, but doing 55mph, and slid across 260feet of frosted grass, to end up against a fense and rolls of metal fensing.

don't know if it is totaled yet, but i believe it is

i just had the engine rebuilt so i am going to buy the car back and am looking to put the motor(its fine, still runs, thank god) in a 92 to 95 civic hatch, i can't afford another teg

i am just glad to be alive right now with a few stiches in my head and a broken collarbone, but im ok, life goes on i guess, i'll keep everyone posted

what a wonder full 100th post

my ex totalled his civic awhile back, completely totalled, bought it back, and fixed it all up and it is a better car now than before.

what kind of rims are those? that must have been a pretty big impact to destroy the left front rim like that...

Sorry to hear that, man. At least you're OK. That, and that built motor will be excellent in a Civic HB.

That ice is a right bitch, you can't be too careful (I say this from personal experience)!

The pic's not working because your ISP says you had too much traffic recently! Guess we all wanted to see what your car looked like! Good luck with the next endeavor.

thanks, alexboy and millertime, but i think i am going to go to the civic

im looking to get real serious in autoxing and going from a 2500lb teg to a 2100lb civic with the same motor should make it real fun
also i am sure i will have a prob with insurance and a civic will cost less to insure

btw i have seen many civic hatchs between 92 and 95 for around 2500 to 4k

i also just got a ticket in the mail today you **** up your car and they still give you a ticket, got it for "driving vehical at an unsafe speed" but damn they can't even prove that i was driving over the speed limit, there were no skid marks on the road, and no witnesses around, but i am afraid that if i try and fight it, i will get screwed in the end, i guess i'll just pay the 94 bucks and forget about it, it could have been worse and made it a reckless driving or something

Protest the ticket...unless the time it takes to do so costs more

ouch man thats gotta hurt,
ill repeat everyone else, thank god your OK!
hey man i feel for ya,
at least you already got plans, and good ones at that!

Hey listen, when you go buy the car back, your gonna take the motor out but there are plenty more things you will be able to take out and sell. let me know when that is gonna go through, ill be interested in some minor parts (for example, that one clear turn signal whcihc is the one i broke, the tail lights, if theyre all alright and the trunk carpeting). every little bit you can manage to get some cash for cannot obviously hurt, we all benefit. hopefully youll be on your feet and standing stronger than before!

Happy Hew Years!
