Can I use my OBD1 GSR motor in 91 LS??
Can I use my OBD1 92 GSR motor in an OBD0 91 RS?? My car and motor is currently OBD1 but I may be swapping that into a 91 integra which is OBD0. I have EVERYTHING from my GSR (oBD1) . I still have the entire car but am purchasing a 91 RS as well. will I need to use my GSR OBD1 harness or buy some sort of conversion harness for the OBD0 harness to work with my motor and OBD1 ecu? will i have to buy a ECU jumper harness? Im really confused on how this will work and what I need to use from each motor. Can someone please shed some light on what I need to use from each motor to make this work? I was thinking that i can just drop in my motor with my OBD1 harness and all sensors in place and then just buy a ECU jumper harness so I can use my ODD1 ecu. is this correct??

If you can find a conversion harness that would probably work. You have to use the OBD1 ECU if you want the VTEC to function. The other possibility is one of the older OBD0 JDM Civic ECUs. They were VTEC but you would have to find an OBD0 distributor. You could use one from your 91 LS motor but you cut one of the three arms off so it will fit the GSR motor. That might be a slicker solution. The electrical stuff is the most critical. If you use an OBD0 B16 ECU, you won't get the dual runner functionality and you may need to have the ECU tuned to match the B18. Check the Hondata web site. I think they have info on that subject. They say they can tune it for you.
Well I still have the entire 92 GSR. If I need any parts I can just take them off that car. To drop the OBD1 GSR motor in the OBD0 RS, can I just use my OBD1 GSR harness or do I have to use the ODD0 already in the RS and get a jumper harness to make it OBD 1? Again I have EVERYTHING from the OBD 1 car to use in the 91 RS . Any thing that I need is in my current GSR. I have 2 OBD 1 ecus's. I have the stock P61 ecu and a OBD1 ebay chipped ECU with teh jun program. Im sure that I need a ECU jumper harness to use the OBD1 P61 right? And what about my O2 sensor? Do i use the OBD1 or 0?
get an obd 0 to obd 1 conversion harness from blown90hatch here on ht.
From your gsr you'll need the obd 1 dizzy, 4 wire o2 sensor, and ecu.
These are the needed parts to go obd 1.
