I just bought a 2005 Honda Civic Lx. I want to install an aftermarket cd player but I can't figure out how to take out the old one. Any information on this would be great or point me to a website that could help. Thanks...

Modified by mornba at 1:36 PM 11/26/2004</TD></TR></TABLE>Go and get a kit and harness for your car, in the kit will be instuctions on how to remove the stock HU, if they have not changed, [the car] then you have to remove the small pocket below the HU climate control assembly, it has the lighter/ power outlet on it, its held in with clips, very tight, once removed, if you look in and up, you will see 2 x 8mm machine screws going through a bar and into a metal brace, remove the screws, and by pulling on the bar, you can pop the bottom of the HU/CCA , not too far, there are clips all the way around the assembly, after releasing all the clips, unplug everything and remove, the rest is easy 94
