hey, lately after i drive my car and than park it, the exhaust smokes heavily and the smoke smells like gas. there is also a residue on the inside thats wet and smells like gas. i have a apexi n1. whats the problem?

 

sounds like it's running super rich. How's your O2 sensor? How's your cat convertor? fuel mileage? cars performance?

 

theres 112,000 miles on the car, i need to check the o2 sensor and cat.

 

yep, 2 great places to start.

 

anything else it could be, i checked the o2 sensor looked fine, connected and everything. checked the cat nothings leaking, no smoke coming from there.

 

and its not just the exhaust, the whole car smells of gas when u get rollin.

 

anyone?

usually checking the o2 sensor, if youve never replaced it in 100k+miles means just go ahead and replace it. And check the catalyst inside the catalitic converter? Something else that could cause rich is your air filter and throttle. Check those out yet?
Did you check your fuel lines?
