Story was it was january and he was driving to isu, ( illinois state university) and he tried t swerve from hitting a block of wood in the road, and lost control of the car and flew in a ditch going anywhere from 60-70 mph, and after he hit the ditch his car flipped 5 times before slidding to a stop.

At least he saved the block of wood from sustaining any damage.
What's he doing driving 60-70 on icy residential streets? And you know people always low-ball their speed after they get into an accident. What was he really driving? 80? 90? higher?

Should of tried to slow down as much as possible and then deal with the car damage from the wood, but maybe it would have been worse? Who knows.

read it ... it says he hit a ditch and after hitting the ditch, flipped several times.

exactly! he didnt hit the ditch on this kinda damage as you can see on those picture the front damage is all flat and it looks like it skid and slide on the flat road as you can see the scratches and the big *** dent of the front.. so theres no way it roll over along the ditch..

Well as he is right next to me, he said it was on the highway( dont know if I mentioned that or not) but he said it was that speed max no more then that and the road was wet not icy but everything else around was snowy/icy, and when he tried to dodge the wood block, he lost control flew in a ditch, hit it and then flipped over 5 times, sorry for any misunderstanding
Oh yeah and the reason why it was flipped and then gets flipped over was because on the crash site it was flipped over on a ditch, and could not get it flipped over at all. and then they took it flipped on its top side all the way to the body shop, and then at the shop they flipped it over on the normal side

that sucks, but what can u do. next time u should up grade your mid level or entry level tires. better grip MIGHT have given this person better control, and better braking grip.....or this integras' time might have been up. when its time to go its time to go.
the tires look like general xp2000's, or from the general / continental family. believe me general tires suck. even w/ an A traction tire, in this type of weather an A traction tire just will not do. ALWAYS go AA traction. you might spend a little more $$$. but it's better than losing your entire car or even your life.
happy to hear he survived, second chances are always nice.

I was thinking "oh **** wood" and by automatic reflex you try to dodge things in the road, and thats what I did and then the car started swerving pretty bad and then flew in the ditch and wak wak wak wak
a little bondo and that thing would be cherry.
is the pic of it on its roof its final resting spot? cause i dont see any ditch in the background. must of been a side street or something.

no guys, the accident was in a city about 50 miles south of chicago, 2 hours from where I live, those dam hicks didnt know how to flip it over, so they took it back to a body shop that my family goes to because its right across the street from my dads job, and there they flipped it over on its wheels, I repeat its no where near a ditch.................
