Default issue with swap

The other day I swapped in a new motor, but ive been having this issue every time i hit vtec and after, I seem to have a coolant leak somewhere, it drips right on top of the downpipe and smokes thats how i know theres a leak, but once again only after vtec. Yes I have checked all my lines, for proper connection and loose connections, torn or ripped lines. And after i let my car sit for a while the coolant drip goes away. Headgasket is perfect too. Can anyone help me out ?

check your water pump. the seal on the shaft will go bad causing it to drip alongisde the block and down towards the center of the motor where it will drip onto the exhaust.
this is why you wont see a puddle when parked.

what you need to do is warm the motor up and pressure test it.you can rent one from autozone.

And after i let my car sit for a while the coolant drip goes away.

jack the car up and look for the leak.
