Default ITR MC/Brake Booster OR Teg MC/Brake Booster on 4 corner Teg Brakes?

Hey,

I have the opportunity to get either an ITR MC and Brake booster or Integra MC and Brake Booster. They would be used on my 92 civic hatch with 4 corner Integra brakes.

Question:
Would I see a benefit in upgrading to the ITR MC and Brake Booster compared to the regular Integra stuff?

Thanks.

Ive never seen the standard integra mc/bb, but I know the itr set is great

but, any thing of the same size will perform similarly

Wait I'm confused. I know the Civic non abs is 13/16 and the Teg is 15/16, so the ITR is 1''? So then the ITR is bigger but has the same design as the Teg?

92-95 si is 13/16 (not sure about other models probably the same)
91 civic ex 4 door is 15/16 (your common upgrade)
94-01 far as ive seen all abs non itr integras have a 1" m/c and i think non abs integras have 15/16 but you need to use the integ. booster to use the integra m/c

i have a 99 abs ls integra m/c booster and it looks the same to me as the itr. either way you just want to use a 1" with the corresponding booster and you will be ok..

if that integra m/c and booster is not 1" then go with the itr one. but if the integra m/c and booster your getting is a 1" then get the cheaper of the two because they are the same.

some people like to up the price because its from an itr. even though they are the same if they are 1"

Thanks, you don't have to do that. My buddy has an itr one at his house and I'll compare it with my teg one later today.

Now as far as using an mc/booster from an abs teg, will i have to bend the lines? Or will it just bolt in with no issues?

Thanks.

One more thing: Can i use a regular teg booster with an ITR MC? Or do I have to use an ITR booster with ITR MC?

EDIT: You already answered this above

this has been a debate at times i have taken out an abs m/c from a 96 gsr and i didnt have to bend any lines but one line was a 12mm (have to reflare) and one was a 10mm and had the cylinder type fill container .

the m/c i have now is a 99 ls and the lines will have to be bent and they are both 10mm and have that huge rectangle looking fill contianer as the itr does.

but bending the lines is easy. from what i remember if you get the itr one you will just have to bend the lines.

oh and you dont need to use that white thread seal thingy. i use to always break my back putting that on because i thought it did something .. this time around i just screwed all the line in and it works the same ... no leaks..

and make sure your using a 10mm flared wrench..
