I sold my old motor to my friend because he bought a Prelude Shell with no motor. He found A Dc 421 header for a 94-95 accord he was wondering if it fits the motor i sold him.

 

if its a sohc vtec header, it will fit a f series vtec head. LX header does not fit f series vtec heads

 

f22a series heads are the same as h23s 0_0_0_0 whereas the f22bs are 0__00__0. so it shouldnt work as far as i know.

He is asking about the Prelude S with the Accord F22a in it. F22B is the JDM version of the H23.

Yes, the upper portion of the header will fit, however, you need to worry about the length of the downpipe.

I believe the downpipe should fit too.

 

^ You realize 94/95 accords came with f22b2s for non-vtec and f22b1s for vtec models. so he has a f22bx right? so the exaust ports are not the same.

 

teh preldue f22a1 will use a 90-93 accord header
