I have a K24 in my CRV and am considering putting on a nology hotwire kit that replaces the coil on spark with a hotwire. Nology makes a K20 Civic kit but it certainly looks like it should fit my CRV. Does anyone know if the distance between the coil and plug uses the same length tube on the K20 and K24 head? Thanks.

 

Why? OEM ignition is top knotch and will probably yield better power than Nology.

 

I have installed nitrous and noticed that my plugs burn a little rich currently. I was hoping the Nology kit will clean the plugs a little better.

 

Who puts nitrous on a CRV?

Anyway, I would get a MSD igniton. Look and see if they have one for a TSX or Accord. You don't even really need a new ignition system. What you need is a fuel management system. Look into hondata's K pro. That is a standalone so you may program it just right.
