Default engine oil burning FAst part 2!!!!!!!!

no theres no smoke or any of that sort....the problem started recently....the previous owner said he got a new engine installed (H23) ... so im guessin the mechanic there cheated him. i already checked under tha car for any type of leaks...seems to be all fine....so since there isnt any smokes doesnt seem to be bad seals for tha rings...the bolts underneath are all tightend and im useing synthetic 10/40....and it burns quickly as 10/30 so there is no diff there either.....so yea if u can help its greatly appreciated and will save me lots of monii.

It's either a leak or it's burning out the exhaust; that's the only two possibilities. If you're SURE it's not burning any oil out the exhaust, then start looking EVERYWHERE under the motor for oil leaks. It's gotta be goin somewhere.

Oh, and if you're burning that much oil, stop using synthetic; it will only make the burning worse.

PCV valve gone bad maybe? Oil being sucked into the intake?

That's a very good possibility, and it's easy to check for that, but it would still cause a good amount of smoke to come from the exhaust.

From what I have been told, Synthetic oil burns white. Try using convential motor oil it will burn black. if it smokes one of two things are wrong. Valve seals or piston rings. ORR both could be bad. It might be other things but those are the two main ones

The synthetic oil I've seen burn has been dark, like other oils.

I though all oil burns blue/black. Coolant burns white. But anyways kr3 like ludey says check everywhere b/c the oil has to be either burning or leaking.

See this is what happens when all of you v-TeCh StUnNa'S set your vtach all the way down to 3krpm. You lose oil. Put your vtec back at the factory point.
