Default H23 buring oil

Maybe somebody could help me with this. My h23 has a 156k on it and it only burns oil on the highway. Ive checked the engine up and down and can't find a leak. Every couple of days my cars rear bumper has little black dots on it and they smeed to be oil but its coming from the exhaust though. Im not sure whats up with the car. It runs strong and it was lady driven all its life when I first got it the engine had never been touched so I know its not riced out. Anybody have a simlar problem. BTW it never burns oil when Im driving around the city just when I get on the interstate.

generally if it burns oil while driving at highway speeds its the rings and if it smokes only on start up or take off then its the valve seals....My guess on yours is the piston rings. I would start with doing a leak down test to determine the problem for sure . Keep in mind that you can get an H22 long block for $1200 from http://www.hmotorsonline.com
