Where to mount amp in 99 Accord
Looking for suggestions from any experienced installers.
1.Where in the trunk would you mount an amplifier? The model I purchased is an Alpine MRP-F240.
2.Where in the firewall would I go through for the lead going to the battery?
3.Where would you connect the ground circuit for the amplifier?Somewhere near the trunk area,or would you run a wire out to the engine compartment?
Thanks for your help!!!
Dave

Dave</TD></TR></TABLE>Mount amp to rear firewall, [in trunk] there should be an unused grommet on the firewall in engine bay on batt. side, ground amp to floorpan, use seat bolts, seatbelt bolts, or any bolt that gos into floorpan, [there are lots of them] keep the ground as short as you can, and clean off all paint, down to bare metal at thr ground point.

Mount the amp to the back seats. Never mount the amp to the sub box. Because it is easier to steal both when they are together, rather than mounted separately. Look up under the dash, near the steering colum, several large grommets.
