Isn't the A6 a vtec cam? Wouldn't do much good in a non-vtec car now would it?

I think the D16A6 was in the 4th gen Civic Si and CRX Si, neither of which were Vtec motors.

The D16A6 was a NON vtec spec'ed cam it will fit into any of the D series NON-VTEC 16 valve engines. you can even swap it into a 88-91 ef dx but you would be best to do the pgmfi to mpfi rework first as it will be necisary to have it.

I'm pretty sure the A6 cam will NOT work in the Y7. The plug wires for the Y7 are in the front, whereas for the A6/B7 etc they are in the back. This leads me to believe that the two have completely different head designs and their cams are not interchangable.

But i'm probably wrong
