Wonder exactly how "old" your ZC engine is? If you look between the 2nd and 3rd cylinder (above the dipstick), above the header, you will see the 2 digit date stamp of manufacture. This engine is 1988.

so i run out side to see what year my zc is in my crx nope not there so then i run over to the shop (Its cold so i am running a lot) to see what year the zc i am building is it not there ethier ?

it the ture that it should be there if so why do i not have them?

go check yall ZC's and see if yall have it there

 

The two I've had both were date stamped. One was so light it was hard to see until I cleaned off the dirt.

 

I've imported hundreds of zc's over the years and most do have the year stamped on the head, but.....
some have no stamping at all, very strange. In fact my 1st zc swap 7 years ago, has no year on it either, just one of those weird things.

All b seires seem to be 100% for year stampings.

 

Is it maybe certain year ZCs?

I want to know how old mine is. Is there any other way to tell?

Yep, both of mine are stamped in that location

1st one was '89', bought from Nippon motors in '98
New one is a '92, from hmotorsonline (am swapping IM, dist. and mount bracket from old ZC)
