post a pic spanky, just so they know you're talking about an EF not an ED!

I believe ES Bushings sells a motor mount polyurethane bushing kit.

I'm not sure if it is for stock ED mounts though. Maybe you can order a set for a integra LS.??

You know the outcome of this mod right? I like mine (az race mounts) but lots of people i know hate the vibration.

yeah..the vibration is a bit rediculous in fact..i'd love to have a stock "feel" mount. i have a traction bar to elminate the wheel hop and such anyway. I can deal with the rattling/vibration...i just dont think my daily driver application is hardcore enough to need such a stiff mount.

motor mount inserts are a little "milder" than full poly mounts. i have them on my d series and they only go for the torque mounts. the one near the radiator and the one near the firewall. the side mounts stay stock and help reduce vibration. sometimes i forget my car has them cuz it still runs smooth.

i think mugen still offers their motor mounts for EFs. check with king. inserts for a DA might work, but i doubt it will work in all places.

Hey not to jack your thread, but it could be usefull to you too....

on the HMT site, they talk about filling the mounts with the poly, and then caping them with inserts. Would it do anything to just fill the mounts with that poly stuff? and not put in the inserts? would that be druable at all? Im going to be doing a ZC swap soon and I figured I do something for my mounts while there out...

thanks

If all else fails you could get some hasport mounts. But yes, HMT did make their own polyurethane inserts by hacking up some prothane inserts I'm sure you could do the same.

you ever notice that people that do b16a1 swaps into 4G civics don't use the stock jdm mounts? wonder why that is. maybe they don't fit right. so if the jdm mounts won't work in a usdm car, i would have to guess that some mounts designed for a usdm car wouldn't work in a jdm one. are you following me still? he wants to know of some inserts that would work on his car. if you don't know don't answer.
thanks: SiR management

How the hell do you have a SiR in wisconsin? thats nuts! Anyway, the problem is, i think that usdm chassis are so popular, the "better" SiR's get short handed, that is silly, its like having a bunch of tricked out v6 mustangs and the cobra guys are screwed.

Energy Suspension have a kit, i've used it on my EF8 Si-R which has exactly the same mounts as yours, the kit number is 16-1109, the kit is for an integra but trust me they fit perfect.
HTH,
Shaun.
