Default whats the name of that seal that the shift rod goes into the trans?

does anyone know the exact name of the part?

i looked under my car and its leaking from where the shift rod goes into the transmission...trans is a Si trans

im also missing the shift rod boot u know that little mini boot that supose to cover up the rod

It shows the boot in that pic but not the seal... the seal seems to be in this pic (#20) which is listed as.

can i use that part number at any honda dealer?

also how hard is to install one of these? only hard part would be the bitch pin right?

that PN is from http://www.slhondaparts.com/ but it does look like a standard Honda PN.

It's been too long since I rebuilt my tranny to remember but from the pic it looks like that seal just slides on without having to tear the tranny apart.

pretty sure it just slides off with a flathead prying at it, anyone confirm?

yes it comes off with flathead. outer tranny seal??
